What We Do
The Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards supports UW undergraduate students in developing the skills and personal insights necessary to pursue scholarships appropriate to their goals.

Our advisors:

  • Provide individual advising, workshops, events, and online resources to help students navigate the scholarship search and application process.
  • Mentor students through application processes by offering individual feedback, resources, and advising to support students in developing competitive applications for any scholarships they might be applying for, whether internal UW scholarships, local, national and/or international scholarships.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and support potential student scholars. Let us know about your exceptional students!
  • Coordinate application processes for a number of UW and national scholarship programs. We also collaborate closely with the Martin Family Foundation, which provides scholarships for students planning to transfer to UW Seattle from Washington community colleges.
