Research Project: Project Stoma

Project Description: We’re developing a medical app for stoma patients to get a precise fit for their wafers and to have a better care.

What have you learned throughout your research project? 

I’ve learned so much from my peers. I have learned how to write grants, to reach out to patients for feedback and for customer discovery. I also learned to work with my peers to deliver what needs to be delivered on time.

What piece of advice do you have for future applicants? 

Don’t be scared to talk about yourself and why you are applying for the scholarship. It’s good to learn more about the applicants and their interests.
