Info Sessions & Workshops
Our team is here to support students in their application journey through info sessions, workshops and one-on-one advising. Throughout the summer and ahead of the Autumn 2026 application deadline we will offer:
- Info sessions to help students learn about the Mary Gates Leadership and Research Scholarships, eligibility, requirements and the application components. Info session videos are also available for students to explore here.
- “Reworking your Mary Gates application” workshops to support previous applicants in strengthening their application as they prepare to re-apply in Autumn 2026.
- “Getting started on your Mary Gates application” workshops for students who may need the support or motivation to start their Mary Gates Leadership and Research application.
- Application workshops to help applicants develop their research/leadership idea, describe their project, plan and goals, and make steady progress on their application ahead of the deadline.
- Drop-in feedback workshops to offer feedback on application essay and materials.
