Leadership Project: Narcare

Leadership Project Description: Narcare is a community-focused approach to fight the opioid epidemic and save lives. It is centered around education, accessibility, and policy changes.

What advice do you have for future Mary Gates Leadership applicants?

The biggest piece of advice I would give is to never accept failure. You will always encounter roadblocks and pushback. Do not let that stop you!

What have you learned throughout your leadership project? 

I have learnt a lot about leading a team and how crucial it is to communicate with them about any developments. I have also witnessed, firsthand, the power of community in overcoming barriers.
