Center for Experiential Learning and Diversity

OMSFA is housed in the Center for Experiential Learning and Diversity (EXPD), along with ten other programs: The Carlson Leadership and Public Service Center, Dream Project, Early Identification Program, Global Opportunities, Husky Leadership Initiative, Jumpstart, Ronald E. McNair Program, Mary Gates Endowment for Students, Pipeline Project, and Undergraduate Research Program. OMSFA collaborates closely with these other EXPD programs to identify and reach out to engaged students.

OMSFA is a unit within Undergraduate Academic Affairs in collaboration with the Office Minority Affairs and Diversity.

National Association of Fellowships Advisors

OMSFA is a member of the National Association of Fellowships Advisors (NAFA). NAFA’s mission is to guide advisors in promoting the full potential of fellowship candidates through the application process, and to foster the continued growth and professionalization of fellowship advising in higher education.
